The suspension conveyor
is composed of a traction chain, a sliding frame, a hanger, an overhead track, a driving device, a tensioning device and a safety device.
1. Traction chain
As the line of the suspension conveyor is the space line, so the traction chain should have good flexibility in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The conveyor in the painting shop often uses two kinds of detachable chain and double articulated chain with traction chain divided into 100mm and 160mm according to pitch. The inner ring head of the detachable chain is made into a circular prism to increase the Angle and reduce the vertical bending radius. The detachable chain is generally used for the trolley with large load, such as 5000N, 10000N hanging conveyor, etc. The main advantage of the double articulated chain is that the vertical semi-bending radius is small, but the structure is complex and the price is high. It is suitable for the light suspension conveyor with the trolley carrying weight below 1000N.
2. Slide frame
Slide frame basic form of slide frame of detachable chain. The slide frame is used to support the spreader of the cargo and make it run along the overhead track, or to support the chain mass so that the chain does not produce too much deflection. The former is called the load slide frame, and the latter is called the no-load slide frame. The roller of the slide frame is made of the whole bearing type, there are two kinds of closed and open, when the suspension conveyor to pass through the high temperature drying room, the open roller is generally selected, and the double articulated chain of the slide frame is generally made with the chain.
3. Overhead track
The lines of the hanging conveyor are all single lines, and the overhead track of the detachable chain can be made of 10-16 I-beam steel, which is made of special box-type section steel depending on the load size. Overhead rails can be fixed and attached to a roof truss, wall or post. In order to eliminate the concave shape of the slide frame at the vertical bend of the line, the phenomenon of rising caused by the tension of the traction member should be equipped with guiding anti-rail device.
4. Rotary device
The steering of the suspension conveyor in the horizontal plane is realized by the steering sprocket, the slotted light wheel or the roller group. The principle of selection depends on the form of the traction component, as well as the tension of the traction chain and the steering radius.
5. Tension device
Tension device is used to change the suspension conveyor due to the wear of the chain, the temperature rises when the thermal expansion cold contraction caused by the extension of the chain length and resulting in tension device, commonly used tension device is hammer, spring and pneumatic hydraulic three, hammer tension device, it is composed of activity frame, support frame, pulley, sprocket, hammer and telescopic street composition. The tensioning device is generally arranged on the transport section with the minimum tension or near the minimum tension. It is usually placed on the bend not far behind the drive unit.
6. Driving device
The driving device of the suspension conveyor is placed at the maximum tension of the line. When the line length is not more than 500m, only one driving device is generally placed. When the line length is very long or complicated, multiple driving devices need to be placed. The driving devices include angular driving devices and track driving devices. The angular drive is mounted at 90° steering on the conveyor line and transmits traction through the engagement of the drive sprocket with the traction chain. The track driving device is installed on the end of the linear area of the conveying line, and the traction force is transmitted by the engagement of the convex head 4 on the track chain of the driving device and the traction chain.
7. Safety device
In order to prevent the driving mechanism and walking part of the conveyor from being destroyed under accidental overload, a safety pin should be installed on the drive sprocket or transmission device. When the traction force is more than 20%~30%, the pin is cut off.
When the traction chain is broken or accidentally loose, located in the rising or falling section of the traction chain, the slide frame and the spangler will roll down under the action of dead weight and cause an accident, in order to prevent this from happening, in the rising and falling section, should be equipped with a special safety device - trap.
