I. Scope: This standard specifies the test method for determining the bonding strength between the covering layer and the belt core of the wire rope core conveyor belt by the peeling method. This standard is only applicable to the wire rope core conveyor belt.
Reference CRITERIA: THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS CONTAIN PROVISIONS WHICH, BY reference in THIS STANDARD, constitute PROVISIONS of THIS STANDARD.
GB/T 532-89 vulcanized rubber -- Determination of adhesion strength to fabrics (epv ISO 36:1985)
GB/T 12833-91 Rubber and plastic tear strength and adhesion strength multi-peak curve analysis method (eqv ISO 6133:1981)
Three, test principle: Determine the peeling method to make the coaling layer and the core layer of the required force.
Four, test instrument: this test adopts tensile testing machine which meets the following requirements:
A. Device with automatic recording of stripping force;
B. The moving speed of the gripper can be adjusted to 100±10mm/min;
c. The measurement error shall be no more than 1% of the measurement range;
d. The force measurement part shall be non-inertial (e.g. electronic).
1. Take 6 samples with the following dimensions (see Figure 1) :
a, for no transverse metal parts, with (without) fabric reinforcement layer;
Length (consistent with the direction of the belt length); 150mm (minimum);
Width (b) : 25mm (minimum), including at least two wire ropes, and arranged symmetrically;
Thickness: full thickness of the tape.
b. For belts with transverse metal parts:
Length (consistent with the direction of belt length) : 150mm (minimum);
Width (b) : 25mm±0.5mm;
Thickness: full thickness of the tape.
2, along the axis parallel to the belt rest assured (in some special cases can be along the axis of the vertical direction of the belt), at least 50mm from the edge of the belt part cut sample.
3, with a knife on both sides of the sample close to the upper and lower edge of the wire rope will peel off the covering layer of a section, the section should be able to ensure that the sample in the testing machine clamp firmly.
Vi. Test conditions:
1, at least five days after the conveyor belt is made, according to the provisions of GB/T 532 test.
2. The test was carried out under the condition of temperature 23±2℃ and humidity (50±5) %.
3. Divide the six samples into two groups (three for each group). The first group of samples were tested one by one. The upper coiling layer is clamped into one gripper, while the core layer with the lower coiling layer (containing the wire rope) is clamped into the other gripper.
4, start the testing machine, with 100±10mm/min gripper moving speed on the sample peel test.
5, at this time the testing machine automatically records the stripping force curve.
6. Test the second group of samples one by one. The lower coiling layer clamps into one gripper, while the cored layer with the upper coiling layer (containing the wire rope) clamps into the other gripper. The test requirements are the same as 6.4 and 6.5.
7. Each group was tested three times.
8. If the bonding strength between the cored layer and the cored layer is greater than the fracture strength of the cored layer, the maximum force and failure mode should be recorded.
