There are three main reasons which affect the degumming of rubber drum of belt conveyor

In the use of belt conveyor, occasionally encountered belt conveyor drum degumming situation.
Reason 1: The belt tensioning force of the belt conveyor is too small, which leads to the degumming of the rubber surface of the rubber wrapping drum.
The use of heavy hammer tension belt conveyor, can be solved by adding a heavier hammer counterweight, add to not slip, but it should be noted that should not add too much, so as to avoid the tape from unnecessary excessive tension and reduce the service life of the tape.
Using spiral tensioning device and hydraulic tensioning device, the belt conveyor's belt slip can be increased by adjusting the tensioning stroke, but sometimes the tensioning stroke is not enough, the tape appears permanent deformation, then the tape can be cut off a section, and then re vulcanized.
Reason two: The cleaning device of the belt conveyor fails, resulting in the degumming of the rubber surface of the rubber wrapping drum.
Belt conveyor cleaner is used to clean the materials attached to the conveyor belt. If the function of the cleaner fails, the material attached to the conveyor belt will enter between the drum and the belt, causing wear between the material particles and the belt, resulting in the rubber surface of the drum degumming, and reducing the service life of the belt.
Reasons affecting the failure of belt conveyor cleaner:
1. After installation and use of the cleaner for a period of time, the alloy head of the cleaner will wear to a certain extent due to frequent friction with the surface with tape, resulting in the failure of the cleaner.
2. Material blocking phenomenon at the cleaning place will cause the deformation of the cleaner, change the installation Angle between the cleaner and the tape, and cause the failure of the cleaner.
Measures to prevent the failure of the cleaner:
1. Check the cleaner frequently and replace the alloy sheet of the cleaner with serious wear;
2. Timely clean the deposited materials inside the funnel of the head to prevent plugging. If the installation Angle between the cleaner and the tape changes, it should be readjust. Check the bottom of the cleaner frequently. Medium roller: Replace the belt and roller with serious wear.
Reason three, the wrapping Angle is too small or the friction coefficient is too small, resulting in the rubber surface of the wrapping drum degumming.
From the analysis of belt slip, it can be seen that the smaller the drum wrapping Angle and the smaller the friction coefficient, the greater the minimum tension of the conveyor belt departure point, the easier the belt slip. Therefore, in the design should be properly increased between the drum and the tape, in the production process, try to avoid the mixture of water and materials attached to the tape, reduce the friction coefficient.
