PVC/PU conveyor belt is our common lightweight conveyor belt material, in addition to PE/silicone and other composite material lightweight conveyor belt products. How to choose easy to use and durable has become a problem for many customers. Three angles teach you how to choose. 1. Cost factor First of all, consider the cost factor. In a reasonable range, of course, the lower the cost, the more advantageous it is. Cost factors: price, processing cost, transportation cost, after-sale cost, etc. Example 1 Oil resistant environment: We completely consider the price factor and choose PVC conveyor belt products, which may increase the after-sales cost. Example 2 Selection of quick connector and endless belt: If the equipment that is inconvenient to disassemble is assembled with an endless conveyor belt, the maintenance cost and time cost will be very high. 2. Application scenarios The ability of different materials to adapt to the environment of the conveyor belt is different, and the limitation of the scene is an important reference for the selection of the conveyor belt. Material factors: weight, volume, shape, temperature, acidity and alkalinity, etc. Environmental factors: temperature and humidity, differences between north and south, etc. Example 1 Cold resistance of conveyor belt The temperature difference between north and south in my country is large in winter, and the northern region needs the conveyor belt to have cold resistance. The wrong type selection may directly cause the conveyor belt to be unusable in winter. The most direct feeling is "the conveyor belt is stiff". Example 2 Chemical raw materials For the transportation of acid and alkaline raw materials, we must consider the pH value. This point directly determines the service life of the conveyor belt. 3. Mechanical design Reasonable mechanical structure can prolong the service life of conveyor belt. Reasonable structure: drum diameter, idler,plate, conveying distance, motor power, transmission mode, slope size, etc. Example 1 Selection of roller diameter The diameter of the drum directly determines the thickness of the conveyor belt and the surface processing technology of the conveyor belt. All conveyor belts must conform to the corresponding drum diameter. Example 2 Transmission mode Especially forward and reverse and surface tensioned conveyor belts. We need to consider the selection of the conveyor belt forward and reverse rotation and the surface pattern structure of the conveyor belt. This directly affects the smoothness of the conveyor belt operation.
